  1. you wear them as a jersey to see who your team mates are.

    the ear peices are for the physical part of water polo. it gets really tough in the pool. you would be surprised.

    the caps also help against drag from your hair that can slow you down. and to not let your hair get pulled on.  


  2. the caps are for refs to mainly tell what number you are

    incase they want to give a kick out.

    we wear them to tell teams apart, (for the watchers of the sport) and to protect our ears from getting busted.

    ear things are to protect your ears from getting an eardrum blown or getting punched in the ear, which really hurts.

    i use my cap to grate the other peoples faces with sometimes thought too.
