I'm traveling to Rio de Janeiro in November with my 2.5 year old daughter, and I'm wondering what the laws are regarding car seat usage in Brazil?

  1. The law says that children cannot seat in the front seat. So you daughter must be seat in the back seat. The law says that everyone inside the car must use the seatbelt but they will only care if the people in the front seats are not using it. So you can leave your daughter in the back seat without car seat. You can use the seatbelt from the middle seat.

    Have a nice trip!!
