Yeah, so you can probably tell I don't really know how to phrase this question...so let me start by telling you about my situation. I am a 24 yr old male, with a large amount of body hair and a beard that grows like weeds. To maintain a clean look, I *must* shave every day. However, when I do, when looking closely one can still make out small, dark hair...follicles? Is there any way to prevent these, are get rid of them? I try plucking them when possible, but that often causes a bump (ingrown hair perhaps?) to appear. I wash my face daily. So...ideas?

Thanks guys.

  1. First shave top to bottom..with the grain... against the grain causes ingrown hair. That means if your hair grows down then shave down. Go to bath and body works and get their shaving creme that comes in the green tube for sensitive skin. Use hot water while your shaving.

Also if you tan once or twice a week your skin will heal naturally and you wont get the ingrown hairs causing such problems. Dont super tan...15 minutes is enough.

You may be missing minerals so you can go to that website to find which ones are missing that would be helpful to your skin, like calcium and sulpher.

  2. Ingrown hair is caused by a coarse curly hair growing into the curved hair follicle. It can be treated by applying a poultice of clay. Other home remedies and information about ingrown hair is available at http://www.hairremoval.in/ingrownhair.ht...
