    drawback is for chhota shopkeepers who loose out on bussiness.

    Huge population, Various Multinational brands availability due to huge population and demand,

    Better profitability. Better reach to individuals, Can have options of many varieties and brands ( both local and MN C's), competitive market. Being high is off take affordability to spend more.

    Disadvantage:

    Infrastructural costs, Politics, high competition from MN C's to the Local operators, High advertisement costs. Taste being changed very frequently by the consumers due to technology being changed often. Location and extensive net work requirement. High Labour costs due to demand in the Labour market, etc, etc*

  6. how to handle middle man , could be called pimps who live of the earning of farmers and consumers , but have developed vested interested with snotty politicians .

    Fuel prices in india are higher hence WAL MART model can not work in India.

    Street corner retailers hav ebecome polite after the avent of Malls and improved quality
