Question:

What are the chances i can do taekwando?

i'm 18, and i wanna start taekwando (starting as a white belt of course)

do i have a chance? or do i have a better chance at private lessons? or not doing it at all?

i wanna be able to learn some sort of martial arts

  1. Anyone can do any type of martial art. As long as your heart is in to it, you'll succeed. Join, I'm sure you'll do great!


  2. course u can do it! personally i'd just go with the cheaper lesson

  3. If TKD is what you want then go for it. Just make sure you visit several schools before you pick one. I recommend also visiting some non-TKD schools to see what's out there before you settle on TKD though.

  4. I think you should try it!

    I used to do martial arts, and there were a lot of older people who were taking the beginner's class as well.  

    Also, if you have a lot of enthusiasm for it, that's a bonus.

  5. for women it is much esier because we use alot of legs, men are stronger in the upper body, women can knock men over, i am embarrissed to say, i couldnt even do a push up six months ago, now i have a record of doing 230 pushups in 7 mins!!!! , i take tae kwon do, u have 4 1/2 chance out of  5 because it depends on how much effert u put into something, yes u have a great chance!!! good luck
