  1. I drive the ball 240-250 and that is realistic, no lie and I normally shoot about 82 for 18. Now how is it that a 14 year old knows they drive it 302 yds. Now im pretty big and young and I hit it fairly decent but no where near 302 yds now how is it I beat you by 10 shots. You have a 0 percent chance of going pro because your short game must suck. And if it doesn't, then your lying because if you have a good short game and hit it 300 then you would shoot about 70 everyday. YOU DO NOT HIT THE BALL 302 Yards, because if you did you would probably at least shoot in the mid 80's. You have got to stop lying, you probably hit the ball about 250, but like most kids you lie to make it seem like your Tiger. And just to let you know if your hit the ball 302 yards you would be 6th on the official PGA Tour driving distance list, ahead of Tiger, Phil, Adam Scott, and Daly. So think that one over and then write down how far you actually hit the ball.

  2. you can drive 302 but only shoot a 92?????? You have got to be kidding. You must have a seriously bad short game. i'm 13 i hit my drives like 220-250 and I shoot like 75's. Work on your short game and you  WILL improve. Right now, there is no chance you get in

  3. if you drive it 302 and still shoot 92, something must suck for you.  Either your irons or putting blows, or you are not driving it 302.

Just so you realize how hard it is to believe what you are saying, the PGA tour AVERAGE for driving is 284.4 yards.  and the AVERAGE score is 72.  so they are driving it 20 yards less than you and shooting 20 strokes better.  When you drive it 302, how accurate is your shot?  Are you fairway?  Are you inthe woods?  How many putts per round is that "excellent" putting taking you?  What aboutyour approaches?

Tiger Woods averages 294 yards per drive.  So your out driving Tiger?  at 14?  And still hitting 92????

I have a much shorter drive, a horrible aproach shot and can't putt for anything, yet only shoot 100...your out drivng me by 100 yards and only saving 8 strokes?

Stay in school, give up hopes of the tour!

  4. you r not driving 302 yards  and your iron and putting are not excellent if you are shooting 92  work on short game thats where you shave the most strokes   short game short game!!!!!!

  5. This is America.  Anyone can accomplish anything they want, all it takes is determination and mental toughness.  If you don't really want it, don't waste your time.  But if this truly your dream, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to do it.

  6. Yeah agreed with the others that you must have a terrible short game or something, with that length off the tee, or the accuracy must be off the scale. You not mean you hit the ball 202? I am 18 (female) play off scratch at the moment and i have been playing golf for 4 years! I hit the ball around 240-250 in UK, but out here at college in Texas i hit it around 270-280, humidity etc! But i used to shoot like 70's hitting the ball off the tee only like 200 yards. My advice to you would be to work on your accuracy off the tee, iron strikes, and chipping and putting, the key to a great player is short game, i know loads off people who don't hit the ball very far but who can shoot awesome scores! But at the moment you have no chance at pro! (Sorry!)

  7. Not to be mean but if you can drive 302 accurately, and can hit irons and your putter excellently you should be able to shoot in the high 70's. I am 14, love golf and can drive 270. I average 76. If you want to go pro you need to practice and play in tournaments.

  8. the world needs ditch diggers too!

  9. Dude I'm 14 and I shoot in the 70's. Not to mention I'm not a long baller and I have a dreadful hook on my driver. But anything is possible. Just spend a couple hours chipping and u will see dramatic differences. Yesterday I chipped in on 9 holes so if you can get that down then you will be great.

  10. Try to play on the high school and college golf teams. Scholarships are out there if you are good.  As most people are saying 'short game' is more important than distance.

Florida golf camps are good too.  You also need connections and a coach.  Then also remember what happen to Michelle Wie she had everything and can drive it 300 yards, but she got an injury and she might be done.

You'll find out there are a lot of kids your age that can do the same thing.  If you saw Inbee Park last weekend, she was impressive (she's 19).

Good luck, you have a long way to go.

  11. 0 to 0. If you were that good you would know your limits and ceiling.

  12. you won't make it if the only thing you can do is drive it 300+ yards..  92 in 18 holes is bad..  work on your accuracy and short game..  work on your game and you might have a slight chance on going pro..

  13. I don't know how you drive the ball 302 yards and have excellent iron play and putting and still shoot a 92. I am 13 and only drive the ball 210-250 yards and hit my 3 iron 175 yards and I shoot in the mid 70's and high 70's sometimes. All I can say is work on your short game because that is what ultimately leads to lower scores.
