  1. You won't likely know until two days or one day before hand -- meaning, depending on where you live, tomorrow or Monday. If you live in the keys, like I do, it will almost certainly be canceled.

When I went to Marathon High School, school would be canceled if there was a tropical storm watch or greater. That applies to the whole county, though. If you live on the "east coast", it probably will not be canceled... unless you live in Homestead, Miami, or Ft. Lauderdale.

Keep in mind that if you're in Monroe county you only get two hurricane days every year, then it cuts into your summer! :( So, while big storms can be fun, they have their disadvantages ;)

  2. I hope they do!

    haven't done summer assignments yet

Well since i live in Ft. Lauderdale i hope we dont have school!

  3. It really depends on what part of Florida you live in. Eastern Florida is looking alright as of now, with Western Florida being more at risk. Things change fast though, so stay tuned. I would have your summer work done though :)

  4. I live in Key West and the storm is supposed to hit directly there on Monday so I probably won't have school. I'm going to 10th grade.

  5. Pretty good.  I mean, there's a good chance Fay will hit South Florida.  East/Central Florida is looking better, but South not so good.
