  1. SLIM.   IT WON'T HAPPEND UNLESS THE WATER GOT  CRAZY.

THE PACIFIC AND THE GOLF WOULD HAVE TO MIX IT UP BIG TIME. SO  THERE IS NO WAY IN h**l.

  2. Not probably.

First, all the caribean islands should be removed; and the caribean is not a sismic area.

  3. 0% because of the Reef and cuba is blocking the path.

  4. It could happen, since the late 1800's the Gulf of Mexico has had 10 earthquakes. (small ones) The last one was the biggest on Sept 10 2006 (6.0 magnitudes)

Big earthquakes will produce a tsnuami if conditions are right.)

  5. well, as it havent happened yet as far as i remember, i think it isnt a real concern, still idk it's the sea who can tell how it will behave.

  6. 50/50

  7. Hi,

    Not at all.

There are too many land masses in the way of a Tsunami coming ashore in or around Cancun. The depth of the Caribbean Sea and the fact that the Atlantic is so far away this would not happen. The greater and lesser Antilles Islands would block a Tsunami. The shallow waters around all the outer islands would stop the Tsunami or prevent it from hitting the Yucatan.

The Yucatan, Cancun is more subject to Hurricanes than any other destructive force.
