Ok there is this one kid who won't STFU!! He is a crazy person he keeps on telling me hes going to kill me and I know he will, but I do/train in a lot of boxing (he is 16 im 15) and I was just wondering Im not taking his c**p ANYMORE!!

He's been in street fights before but I never had.

Boxer vs Wannabe fighter who thinks hes good.

Im trying my best to keep my cool and stay out of fights, but im so angry.

BTW this kid does'nt even train in nothing all he does is start $HIT and fight on streets.

  1. Challenge him in the ring! Tell hime you won't fight his street **** but would love to go with him in the ring. Make sure there are lots of people around when you say it to him, that way he would look like a loser if he started a street fight with you.

Straight right! Left hand up! Get the BULLY!!

  2. i doubt he'll kill you. people throw that word around too much for my liking.

don't start anything because that isnt what martial arts or boxing for that matter is all about.

be the bigger man and walk away. if and when he writes a check to back up his mouth...close it for him with extreme prejudice.

just keep him on the defense and your training will take over, dont try to do something you dont know how to do...you train boxing, box him.  if nothing else...you know how to slip punches, he doesnt. you know how to throw a punch, he doesn't.

try not to be too angry though, because angry people are stupid and make mistakes...dont give him the opportunity to capitolize on your mistakes.

the first thing i always tell people, and i mean the very first thing is simply that 90% of the people on this planet are right handed. and never practice with their non dominant hand. thus you already have a 75% chance of beating him in my mind because you train offense (25%) defense (25%) and know he will probably strike with his right hand at your face/head (25%) ...like i said, just don't start it yourself.

  3. I'll make it simple for you.  Having fought and promoted, I can say with the utmost confidence that any tough street-fighter would not stand a snowballs chance against the worst professional fighter.  Be careful out there.  Mean Mike.

  4. Just like weepy said.

Ask your instructors if you can invite him over to their sparring class. Say, it will be better because first off, if its on the street its illegal, whereas in the ring, there will be rules and it will be sanctioned.

  5. The truth is, all this fancy BJJ c**p is no good when there's glass, concrete and possibly blades involved. Streetfighter everytime although if this kid runs his mouth as often as you say, chances are he's all talk anyway. Give him a smack and take it from there.
