  1. The driver will probably walk away with less serious injuries than the passenger. More than likely than passenger will strike the back of the drivers hemet and get knocked out. After that its all inertia and luck.

  2. There are many kinds of motorcycle accidents.  If it was just a wipe out (sliding) and the rider wore good leather protection, then it is possible.

But if it was a crash, then it is NOT likely.

I once "walked" away from my motorcycle accident. BUT my skin suffered huge damage (or no skin was left on my left side).

    Good Luck...

  3. been there, done that...

  4. It's in Gods hands after you leave the seat of the bike.

Coin toss in the air has the same out come. heads or tails.

  5. good luck

  6. Actuarially speaking, p=.05, with alpha set at 10%.  That's a 5 percent chance. [With 10% chance that the answer is wrong].

Wanna throw the dice????Hope you are insured for major medical, if you survive at all.  Silly question, that.

  7. My friend dumped his bike on the freeway going 110. He landed on the side of the bike and rode it out. He walked away from it. Luck i guess.

    Depends how u fall.

  8. Doing 70, not very likely you'd walk away.  Course, anything's possible.

  9. I left the road at 140KPH..(so around 70MPH).. into a ditch at the side of the road..  about a foot of water in it (think this is what saved me )...  bike  (RD 350 Yamaha) end over end down the ditch..

got up & walked away no injuries at all..

    So it can be done..

  10. As an ex professional stunt rider, I'd have to say about 50 / 50.     I,ve seen riders walk away from spills at over 100 MPH, and also saw one poor dude get picked up with a blotter and carried away in a box after crashing at 15 MPH.

  11. My nephew crashed at 100 mph a few weeks ago and did not separate from the bike. His injuries were very serious. He will have a long way to go just to recover his ability to walk.  I don't recommend crashing at all, even at 7 miles per hour.

  12. Properly geared and not crashing into other stuff your chances are pretty damned high actually.

  13. Depends on the gear you are wearing, where you crash, the type of crash, and if you hit anything on the way.

Highsiding into the back of a semi?  Dead meat.

Lowside while wearing full leathers, boots, full face helmet, gloves and having adequate slide room?  Pretty good chance of just getting a few bruises to your pride is all.

    GEAR WORKS!  WEAR FULL GEAR!!!!!

  14. I do not think there are many survivors of your scenario answering this question.  They all got their wings.

  15. It depends on what you crash into!

  16. I believe you have a 50/ 50 chance of living through the crash, but The damage you many have to your body could be very hard to cope with. I also think that you would be setting around thinking only of i could have another chance,.
