Did finding one increase my luck enough to find the next?

  1. Good possibility. I've had lawns that reliably grew four-leaf clovers. I could easily find a dozen or more at a time. The fluke in the plant's genetic makeup that allows for them also allows that it occurs many times within the same source plant.

  2. i donno but i kept finding alotta four leaf lovers in my backyard. i still have one of them and i gave one to my sister..it hasnt really affected me or her

  3. Chances are very ow, as I've not heard of this before. I think you must be pretty lucky!

Of course finding one does not increase your chance of finding another in the laws of probability, but maybe it was the luck...

  4. Well, I used to find whole patches of four leaf clovers at high school and the five leaf ones were the "finds."  My friends and I laughed that the school was built over a nuc waste dump, and the clover were going crazy.  The school is very old, so it wasn't but I guess that the clover leaves all came from the same base plant.

  5. No it a four leaf clover is a genetic anomaly in the clovers.  the two clovers probably cam from the same mother clover

  6. chances are pretty good.  4 leaf clovers are a common variant of clover, like a common birth defect.  if you keep looking at clover you can usually find them.  try it again.
