  1. If you use both forms of birth control faithfully then the chance is like 0%. The pill is about 97% effective and the condoms should get rid of that little 3% chance. You just need to always take your pill and use a condom. If you do this you'll be fine.

  2. Statistically?

You multiply the failure rates together.  Used carefully and pefectly, a condom has about a 2% per year failure rate.  Pills, a little less than 1%. So the failure rate would be about .0002 per year. (I'm not great at math ... that's what ... 1 in 5,000?)

  3. lol i like your additionial details....it like no duh absitence is the only way. but if use correctly every time then its like  99% effective against pregnancy. but if the condom breaks or if you forget a pill....then yea.

  4. Pretty good, just make sure you are no ovulating then you should be fine. 99.0% is with most birth control and condoms break and stuff so i never count them.

  5. About 1% but its def possible.

  6. Its never safe to say you wont get pregnant. My wife got pregnant while on the pill and a condom was used also.

  7. you are using both kinds of effective birth control then it's safe to say you won't get pregnant.

  8. 2%

  9. Without some crazy circumstances, you are about as close as someone who is abstinate as you can get.  As long as you take your pill like your supposed to and the condoms stay intact, I'd say you're golden.

There really isn't an exact percentage out there, the only rough estimate I have found is .01%.  You would have to have some pretty crazy coincidences to get pregnant.

    Best wishes!

  10. If used properly, a condom is 98% effective - the pill is 99%.

That means that you have a 0.02% chance of becoming pregnant when using both.

    (Math - 2% * 1%)

  11. I don't have a % for you but I have used the pill and condoms together for a few years because I am super cautious.

My fiance hates me sometimes but then I remind him that kids are not what we want right now.

I sometimes forget to take my pill or take it late so I always use a condom too.

so far it has worked perfectly for me!

    Good Luck!

  12. very slim.

  13. ok so i was on the pill and got preg pills are NOT 99% at all and after a pregnancy the rate goes even further down. if you are using both you should be safe plus you are protected from stds!! good job!! use a female condom though they work better or both then you really are protected!! and they have a spermicide film that a woman can use and put up inside of her before s*x.  anyway like you said nothing is 100% but if you use all 4, then there really isnt a point in s*x lol, no really the best thing is to be safe.

  14. as long as you are taking the pill like you should be, and the condom isn't expired or doesn't have a hole in it, your chance of getting pregnant is practically zero. Probably like 0.001% or something. The pill alone is pretty effective for most people. I never got pregnant using both, and even when I was only using the pill I never got pregnant.

  15. I was on the pill but being married, we weren't using condoms. I am due in 2 months. I know the % is low... but I am living proof it happens. You are using both... you might be okay, but condoms fail too. There is always a risk when you are sexually active. Nothing is 100% guaranteed.
