What are the chances of getting pregnant with metformin 500 mg??? ?

i was just diagnosed with pcos but i have regular periods every 27 28 days i would like to know if anyone had good results on metforming when ttc ..

i did get preg. but i m.c. at 9 wks. i believe it was because i stopped taking the met. i was on 1000mg aday

Yep! Metformin has shown to increase chances of conception with PCOS. It didnt for me but i am currently pregnant for the 3rd time even with pretty bad PCOS (my periods are usually very irregular). So dont give up hope!

WIfe got pregnant with metformin 500mg - she also did low-carb diet mostly and used metformin only after a relatively higher-carb meal. Of note, metformin is not a fertility drug - it just helps bring your cycle back to normal and hopefully ovulate. Then at least you have a 20% shot (which is the chance of conception for normal fertile couples).
