Question:

What are the chances of going into labor before my induction?

The doctor tentatively plans to induce me at around 39 weeks. This is my second child. The reason for the induction is the size of the baby.

(My firstborn - induced at 41 weeks - was also very large and there were complications with delivery.)

What are the chances that I will go into labor naturally on my own before the scheduled induction at 39 weeks?

Thank you.

  1. well i hope for your sake it does happen sooner so you can experience a normal birth (not by c-section or induction)  i got induced with my first and i really hope 2nd time around things go differently so i have the experience there with me forever good luck in what ever way you go

and god bless. hope you have a beautiful healthy baby

  2. baby will come when its ready. keep walking and having s*x they apparently help.

  3. well i know that the opinions may vary but i actually took two teaspoons of castor oil and mixed it with a full cup of pepsi. I did this around noon and I went into labor around ten at night. The castor oil didnt affect my bowels but the contractions did come

  4. Well with my first 2 I was induced but it was pretty much the doctor saying hey go to the hospital right now. With my third I had scheduled an elective induction. Let's see it was Wednesday March 19th. They scheduled my induction for Tuesday March 25th. My water broke on that Friday. I was 38 weeks 3 days.

  5. If the baby decides its ready to come, it'll come.
