  1. Most women worry about what may happen when they are pregnant. It's natural to be scared of something that you have little to no control over. As long as you look after yourselfwhen you are pregnant and don't do anything daft then you should be fine. But please remember that if the worst should happen, it doesn't mean you did anything wrong as unfortunately sometimes these things happen. Take care.

  2. To be honest this is a question many women want an answer to and i don't think there is any right or wrong answer.  I have just suffered my 2nd m/c since April'08, 1st m/c natural at 5wks, 2nd m/c missed m/c at 12wks, baby only measured 8wks.. I did everything by the book, i never smoked, never done drugs, only drink on occasion (didn't drink at all when pregnant) took my folic acid, mother never had any m/c's, its just one of those things.  ALTHOUGH there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have a healthy pregnancy.

  3. Why should you be? As long as your healthy, you dont do drugs, or any of that stuff, you should be fine. But this is a question you really should as a doctor and not people on yahoo answers. Why doe people ask serious questions on this site?????

  4. Statistically?- My doctor tol me 1 in 3, the nurse at the ED told me 1 in 4 and my sister told me 1 in 5- so pretty high.. The only reason the statistics are so different is because some people are pregnant before they even know, they just think there period is late. I just had a m/c on 29/07 and its nothing you do wrong- good luck and dont worry about things you cant change..
