Me and my boyfriend had unprotected s*x for a week as id not seen him for a while but we used the pull out method but im now 4 days late on my period and have had no signs of coming on as i usually do.

Iv also been feeling tired and had a tiny bleed 9 days after we had s*x but nothing major.

What are the chances im pregnant and i cant actually afford a test yet and i cant tell my parents because they will go mental even though im 18 and my boyfriend is 19.

Go to the dollar store or something similar.

You can buy a couple tests cheap.

Take the first one...

If negative wait 3-4 more days and test again.

My husband and I did the pull out method also I got pregnant with my first child then we tryed it again now im 5months pregnant. There is always a chance of getting pregnant that way dont let any one tell you that you can't. Some women do bleed,spot, while being pregnant, also being tired could be a sign of pregnancy too. You should go to the doctor or find a clinic that would maybe give you a test for free.

Well if your period isn't normally late then there is a good chance that you are pregnant. Unfortunately the withdrawal method isn't reliable as men release some sperm before they fully come.

I know you might think you can't tell your parents but you might be pleasantly suprised, it's shocking how supportive they can be when you think they're actually going to go nuts at you.

I'd defiantly go to your family planning clinic or your doctor are they will do a free pregnancy test for you that way you'll know for sure if you are or are not pregnant. And its confidential so your parents wont know unless you tell them.

50/50 ...nobody can tell u what ur chances or being pregnant are. make ur boyfriend buy u a test. and condoms! or go get on birth control. (unless you are trying to conceive?) not to be rude at all but the "pull out method" is just NO.

Wanted to add: i took lots of home pregnancy tests that gave me a negative response when i really was pregnant (first response, ept, and cheap ones) it didnt show up that  i was pregnant EVER. i got a pee test at Planned Parenthood (free) and they confirmed that i was pregnant. i didnt find out until i was 3 months because the home ones kept saying no.

There is a big chance that you are pregnant, also pulling out doesnt actually mean you wont get pregnant - precum. as you are 18 you can either go to the brooke and get a confidential test done and they will also give advice and help or you can you to your doctor.

Sounds the chances are pretty high to me, the pull out method is very unreliable as a small amount of sperm often is released before the man ejaculates. If you go to the doctor or a family planning clinic the test is free. Get tested asap so you can make your decision quickly, the longer you leave it the harder it will become.

You could always go to a planned parenthood center or some other type of clinic and get a free pregnancy test... or possibly ask one of your close friends to buy you one. Being late on your period is never a good thing, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you are pregnant. If you start thinking you are pregnant... your body will start acting as such. I would just try to relax untill you find out for sure.

Go to a free clinic and get a test, its that easy.Yes you could be pregnant but you really wont know for sure till you take a test. I personally got pregnant from the pull out method that isnt full proof. I also got light bleeding after s*x, but well enough before I was supposed to get my period. Good luck to you.

your chances of being pregnant could be quiet high, but you could just be late on your period because your stressing that you haven't come on your period yet and because you had s*x, your stressing sooo much that its prosponing your period. the best thing to do is wait a couple more days even a week and buy a test if not then go to a family planning clinic where they will do the test for free.

Since you can't afford a pregnancy, some hospital or clinic provide free pregnancy test. one other way you can find out if you pregnant, your nipples becomes sensitive or sore, change of appetite, and morning sickness, but remember not everyone have the same symptoms.

it depend how many days you're late, your body begin to change also.

It doesn't work, just because he doesn't come inside you doesn't mean some of his little swimmers didn't reach their goal, they LOVE to swim!

So yes, there is a chance. Take a test and find out for sure, find the money from somewhere, a friend or your boyfriend, you need to know.

I would definately find a way to take a test. If you don't want to go to a clinic then you can buy a test for a dollar at the dollar store. The sooner you find out the better off you will be esp. if pregnant then you can decide what you want to do from there, if not pregnant then you will have peace of mind.

The bleeding could be the egg setteling in, which would mean that you are pregnant.

There are affordable pregnancy tests you can buy online, they are like a pound each, & will work from the first day after missing your period, i think.

if your b*****s get sore that might be another sign.

How regular is your cycle?  Your normally ovulate in the middle of your cycle for 6 days.  eg My cycles are 28 days so I ovulate between days 14 and 20.  They are the best days to conceive.  If you had s*x a week ago, and your period is 4 days late chances are you had s*x day 13/14?  If this is right there is a high chance that you could be pregnant.  Since you are already 4 days late you could take a test and the chances are it would be pretty accurate.

the "pull out" method doesn't work!! chances are you could be pregnant - i don't know if this would be welcome news for you - if i were you'd i'd go to my doctors or family planning/sexual health clinic where you can get a free test and they'll keep everything private and confidential. If you ARE pregnant they can offer counselling services which can help you with deciding what to do next whether that be keeping the baby, adoption or abortion, as well as helping you find a way to tell your parents and prepare for whatever you and your boyfriend decide. good luck xx

Well, if you haven't been thinking about it too much.  (or thought about it before you started to bleed.)  There is a good chance you might be pregnant.

Mind is a powerful tool. If you think about it too much you'll start creating false pregnancy symptoms and you can actually miss your period.  I'm in a different dilemna then you, but my situation sounds similar.

I just recently had a baby boy and he's now 6 months.  My husband and I use the pull out method and a few days to a week later I'd start to bleed.   Very lightly and from time to time it can happen a month later.  So, I immediately worry I might be pregnant again.  Take a test and nothing.  It's negative.   (But I don't know if it's just my body trying to start up again.  Period wise.)  It's confusing stuff dear.  

I'd suggest buying a First Response pregnancy test.   Those things don't lie.  If it comes out negative and you still think you could be pregnant take a blood test at the hospital.  Best of luck! x*x

It sounds like you could be, the pull out method is extremely unsafe.The tiny bleed you had could also be whats called 'implantation bleeding' where the fertilised egg implants itself into your womb and causes a little bleed. You don't need to buy a pregnancy test, go to your doctors and they will do a test for free for you. If you are you need to consider what you want to do, maybe talk to a pregnancy counsellor.

If you are not then try to be more care full in future and use a reliable form of contraception. Could you really afford a baby if you can't even find the money to buy a pregnancy test? If the answer is no then you should be taking precautions.

Pretty high chances... How can you not afford a pregnancy test?  Get one at a clinic.  There are sometimes free ones.  Wait for a couple days then take one.

I'm in the medical field and the chances are very high. If you can't afford a test see if there is a free well woman or planned parent hood clinic near where you might be able to get tested for free.

My advice would be to plan for the worst the odds are not in your favor. Unfortunately your also playing russian roulette with STD's including HIV. You should not just get a pregers test but and STD screening and so should your partner. Next time, if you get another chance, protect yourself. HIV is real and will leave you with a lot more to deal with than your parents going mental.

I Hope for your sakes, your not, but im affraid its probably the other way around.  I wouldnt like to say anything, but you should go to the Clinic and see your local Gp, where a test is free.  Have you told him what your thinking because he could be a really good shoulder to cry on, while you are still unsure.  If your period doesnt come in the next 3-4 Days, you must must must visit a Gp because then it would be a whole week out of place.  Theres no point in being cross with your self, and the people being abusive on here, need to open their eyes.  I hope your not pregnant for your own sakes.  Get back to me with news.  Please x

Well if you can't afford a test you surely can't afford a baby.. we can't tell you for sure on here if you are pregnant or not. You either need to get a test or just wait it out I suppose. Pulling out is NOT a good form of birth control.

The pull out method is not effective as there is sperm in pre *** so you could be pregnant. The bleeding you had could have been a implantation bleed that can happen in between 7-14 days after s*x. If you cant afford a test you can get a free one at your gp or a family planning clinic. You can also go to your local connections and they'll help you out. Good luck!

1st child was the result of the "pull out" method.  I'm not saying that you are pregnant. Just a FYI that it does not work.  You really need to go down to a clinic and take a test.  most places are free.  Look into a Clinic specifically for teens.  They are confidential and will give you counseling. You could be pregnant if he didn't withdraw on time. If you go to a doctor the pregnancy test should be free. Home tests only cost about 8 pounds here in UK, shouldn't be too expensive where you are.
