What are the chances of me getting a job at Outback?

I have no experience as a server but I have a good peppy personality that could get me in. I work full time currently but Im looking for a night job and weekend job. What are my chances I will get hired if I can only work late nights and weekends? Also, what is the latest shift you can work?

Also does anyone else have suggestions for a place to work besides Outback? Thanks.

  1. I worked at Outback Steakhouse for three years and they always look for experience and good attitudes. You may have to start as a host/hostess, and the managers/keys will always look at your performance and interaction with customers. Once the customers start to love you and you prove yourself as a reliable worker, they may train you to become a server, which is a long process!! Also, study the menu before you talk to the manager, this will really impress him/her. They stress Knowledge!!

    Good Luck!!

  2. If they are hiring and you pass the personality test, you will be hired as a host or busser.  Most Outbacks require previous serving experience( 2 years or more).

Outback Promotes within, so work hard and show them that you want to move up in the company.
