What are the chances of someone dying after having a braintumor removed? Like 3+ years after it was removed.?

It depends on where the tumor is and what type of tumor - malignant or benign.  My mother had a tumor in the lining of her brain, it was benign.  She had it taken out in 2003 so it has now been 5 years.  She is doing great!
