What are the chances of someone you know recognising you online?

If they see your pic and your real name was not used. Or what are the chances of someone seeing your pic on line and recognising you in real life or seeing you on cam and recognising you. I posted my pic and now I am worried.

depends where it was posted of course.

imagine an image posted on the front page of google vs. one posted in some random section of some random specific-interest forum.

I'm guessing in your case the chance is awfully close to zero.

It depends on how close to you they are and how often they see you... Somene who sees you every day will recognize you but thier mind will tell them it's not you then they will problably ask later:P

As often as questions are posted on here I would say 1 in 500,000. If you type your question in that had your pick and look at how many results you come up with, say 300,000 to choose from at the bottom, this will give you an idea.
