What are the chances of survival in a kitten...

Question

when he got accidentally got stepped on? he was sleeping on a rug which he blends right in to. we took him to a vet. they are giving him steroids to help bring the fluid off his brain. he was bleeding from the nose and his eye was swollen. what is his chance of survival?

Personally, I would say it's 40/60 in favor of death. it would be possible to save it, but it will be brain damaged, or even paralyzed due to the trauma of being stepped on.

The vet would know for sure.

Since there is a treatment, probability of survival is better than 0, at least. Good luck and good wishes to your kitty.

only your vet might know that depending on the severity....my best guess is that if you took it to the vet right away and it is currently being taken care of it might have a pretty good chance of survival

poor cat.:( i have a cat that got stepped on to but it wasnt that serious i guess you should talk to the vet..good luck
