What are the chances of the Red Sox winning the AL Wild Card

I personally love the sox but I don't think they will beat the Rays in the race for the pennant. I think they have a better chance of winning the AL wild card. I just want everyone else's opinion on it

At the All Star break, I was thinking that the Rays were going to be slowing down considerably...but it's way past the All Star break and the Rays aren't showing any signs of slowing down. I'm a Red Sox fan, and I'd love to see the Sox win the AL East, but as of right now, I'm actually thinking they have a better chance of making the AL Wild Card. They're still a strong team.

We are going to win something. Whether it be the division OR the wildcard, we are going to the playoffs. It will be more clear after the Rays' very very difficult september schedule.

They Ray's have 28 games in 28 days in september. Including Six games vs. the Red Sox, five vs. the Yankees, and four vs. the twins.

That is when the rays will collapse, but then it will be between us (red sox) and the yankees.

The Red Sox still have a chance to win the division. But they are going to have to take it away from the Rays which is proving to be a lot harder than I'm sure anyone thought it would be. As for the Wild Card, they have a good chance of winning it. But there are a few other teams that have a good chance of winning the Wild Card as well. This is going to be a tight race til the very end.

i think everyone is finally coming to their senses and realizing that the rays are really a good team,i think they will win the division with the red sox winning the wild card,i would love to see a red sox vs. rays ALCS

They'll win pennant...don't worry. Their starting pitching is hitting its groove and they will have the best rotation in all of baseball.

i think for winning the division they have a slim chance considering how good the rays have been... for the wildcard i think they have a better chance but i think this year is going to go down the wire to the last few games  and the cool think is the redsoxs last seires is agaisnt the yankees.
