  1. GOOD, every time you hit the scale. I've been checked everyday for 5-6 days in a row and i'vce been months without being looked at. now as far as the company being audited, that goes by how many tickets the companies drivers have gotten over the last few months

  2. Do you mean just running down the road and getting checked?  I've been driving for 4 years and have been checked 3 times.  Just random checks at the inspection stations.  You'll hear warnings on the CB if they are "rolling you across" or if they are stopping everybody and checking logbooks, where they stop everybody in line and take a quick look at your logbook, if they see anything they want to check out they'll pull you around the back and check deeper.

They also do random auditing.  Where they will pick a company and check all their records.  You know, the log sheets you turn in to your employer, the annual inspections, state/province permits, road taxes, the insurance, etc... Everything the company and you are supposed to keep up to date to stay legal.

There are so many companies out there, that it could be ten to fifteen years between audits, or if they find the drivers of a particular company always getting caught with logbook violations, speeding tickets, accidents, public driving complaints, etc... they might do an audit every year or two.

So keep it legal, (that doesn't mean it has to be true) just believable and legal.  Make sure border crossings, DOT inspections and anything they can double check times are true.  If you keep receipts (which you are supposed to do for any purchases), if they have a time on it, make sure it's marked on your logbook.

  3. you have a better chance of getting hit by a truck

  4. "Do you feel lucky, Well do you"

Your chances are 50/50 just like flipping a coin but the fines and penalties aren't worth it.
