  1. If she hasn't developed some alternative coping strategies, and the problem that was causing her to want to cut is still existent, then its highly likely that she will do it again. Howver, she may have found another way to deal with it.

  2. Depends on if the same thing she cut herself for happens again. If not she's pretty much not going to do it again. Talk to her.

  3. Try to investigate the reasons why people have this behavior, many times is to concentrate all the pain they fill in one place so they feel in control. Also it is very important that she is getting help, these things don't disappear from one day to the next, this is something she'll be struggling with for the rest of her life. Be attentive to her but don't push her, show her that you are available and above all do not judge her, you can not not what is going on in her mind so instead of judging her try listening to her.

  4. Urrm about 50/50.

She will have gotten strength from freedom of two months, and the longer you go the easier it is.

But cutting never really leaves your mind.

I think she's probably more likely to start in the long term rather than the short term.

  5. Everyone is different. Some people can quit and be done, and some people can quit but then have relapses and never actually quit. goodluck. :)

  6. Well, you haven't given much details, but check to see if she's lying, and don't make it too obvious. A simple way is to ask about when's the last time she cut and look straight into her eyes. If she looks away or fidgets chances are she's lying. Even if she hasn't cut in 2 months, it's a problem you SHOULD TELL SOMEONE ABOUT. She may really have quit or she may be really unstable and cut when something else comes up. Remember, be a good friend and be there for her, and DO NOT patronize her or her condition in any way.

  7. What was causing her to do it? If she is struggling with the same stuff then it is more likely. Also did she stop because of other people, or because she decided to. Hopefully she won't start again.

  8. The odds are against her.  Sorry.

  9. Dígala suicidarse ya. Emo estúpido

  10. Great. It doesn't go away, the slightest thing can trigger you. After I went to see batman, I wanted to cut 'why so serious' in my arm. Stupid, I know, but it triggered me. She's going to get urges, they can get real bad. I suggest just comforting her...doing stuff watching movies, playing games, even just talking on the phone can help. I normally sleep some of them off (I get them at night). But that's just me....just don't make a big deal out of it because it never helps.
