Are we going to join Georgia in it's dispute against Russia? What are the chances Bush will pull some troops from Iraq and send them to Georgia?

  1. you georgia is literally like the united states' little brother. we have funded them and we have trained them to fight over the years we have help their young democracy grow into a sovereign nation. the have even fought in wars wit hus like iraq. but now the bully russia is attacking our little brother and georgia cries for help. our president and canidates speak in georgias favor but no one wants to tell georgia the truth. the truth is their big brother is not coming to the rescue. the war on terror has weaked are military and we know that we cant fight russia.

as much as we respct georgia and want to help. this time the united states will have to turn a blind eye

i hope this answers your question

  2. none and we don't want a WW3

  3. 1 in a billion...  I do not   want to say no :)

(actually I believe there are 150 or so marines still there from the recent training)

  4. yea hes right we have troops there already but thats cuz we have a military base there. and no we wont be fighting russia netime soon. a cease fire has been put in place.

  5. We have enough with the two wars we are in right now.  I am praying that we don't get into a third one.

  6. very slim

Our military is currently stretched thin, the only way i can see it is if we sent a few troops as part of a multinational peace keeping force. Even this is unlikely since the country should be stable when Russia stops the fighting.

  7. VERY unlikely

  8. Some American troops will be going there, BUT only as pilots of the transporter aircraft that are airlifting, the 2,000 Georgian troops to Georgia, back from Iraq.

  9. Never.

    It is a not joke.

Such variant of events is possible only in case if black-assed dull bandits-Caucasians will appear for USA and its satellites-jackals more close and native, what their own American and European asses.

Russia and now is able burn (with help of conventional armaments) any European country and EC on the whole. However, it is and very powerful nuclear power of the world. Russia is the most multinational country in the world and  the most peace-loving on its nature nation - but only until some foreigner pig will not push in the impure pork snout in our vegetable garden.

And yet we are the most brainless country in the world. In the case of danger, our politicians easily will arrange nuclear war on own territory, but not a single aggressor will go away living from Russian Empire, whatever named it and its provinces presently and whatever its frontiers drew you on your maps.

  10. maybe only internatonal peacekeepers will enter Georgia

  11. WE HAVE US MARINES IN GEORGIA ALREADY

My buddy is there right now. He went last month to assist with training the Georgian military in NATO laws and weapons.

Will they go into direct combat with Russian troops?

    Not in a million years.

  12. Bush is not that stupid to risk thermonuclear war.

Well, do you think Russians should be stopped / Georgians saved? (and there is a cease fire already) TV said you so?

Looks like things are a little more complicated there:

Both US and Russian media are lying. Thats obvious, as mass-media is a weapon too.

Its difficult to expect any pro-Russian stuff from CNN, right?

On the first day of fighting there was a nice movie by CNN. Featuring dark night and bright flares of starting missiles in the background of voice telling us about Russian invasion. Wait, it was only evening in Georgia and russians have joined war in the midday. It takes time to send the movie to some studio and prepare some breaking-news, at least an hour I'd say. And camera men should travel that far to the front, Tskhinvali city is far from Georgian capital city of Tbilisi. So that couldn't be that night, this is previous night: August 07. And there were no russian forces in Georgia at that moment... So missiles are Georgian!

Lets take a closer look on them. They're flying in the very fast rate. Axelerate, then rocket engine stops and disappears in the night. Do you know what this weapon is? It is 'Grad' soviet era indirect missile artillery designed to kill lots of infantry in the field. It is useless against tanks and strongpoints. And it is very inacurate... Warhead turns into numerous splinters on detonation effectively killing everyone around. And 'Grad' provides rain of such rockets. Rain of death.

Do you imagine this? Without declaration of war, warnings et.c. in the middle of night, when people are sleeping at their homes someone bombards city with 'Grad'. This is not a police action against rebels, this attempt to kill as many of them (children, women, everyone) as possible and make others run in terror. That exactly happened. Saakashvili is a war criminal.

  13. Unless Bush wants to enact the draft, highly unlikely.  We don't have enough troops to spread around.
