I've been wanting to get my hips pierced, but like any intelligent individual, I decided to do a bit of research before getting it done. I found that the rate of rejection for hip piercings, and most surface piercings for that matter, is very high, nearly inevitable. I was thoroughly disappointed, but then found out about microdermals. They seem to be better than surface piercings, but I didn't find anything about whether they have a better chance of healing than surface piercings or not. So, basically, do microdermals have a better chance of healing than surface piercings?

  1. I got a microdermal right below my belly button.  Things went well for the first few months, until I woke up one morning, and it was very sore and looked weird.  I went to the place I got it done, and they said it wad rejecting, 4 months later!
