Will cars be banned in cities? Will driving in cities in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, and North America come to an end? There are those that want it to. They want us to use only bicycles and mass transit.

  1. Don't think that will ever happen.

  2. not likely but

I bet you will see more cities having

    Congestion Charges &  Zones.

The London congestion charge is a fee for some motorists traveling within those parts of London designated as the Congestion Charge Zone.

A payment of £8 is required for each day a chargeable vehicle enters or travels within the zone between 7 am and 6 pm; a fine is imposed for non-payment.

the US is far behind Europe in the mass transit and bicycle lane areas. when gas gets around $8 things might change.

but ppl are not going to give up their cars until they can step out their doors and onto or into a safe and reliable transportation system. If they started building something today It might be ready in 10 years.

  3. It is about the same likeliness that I will EVER, actually get my three kids, walk down to a freakin' bus stop, wait, get on the bus, take it to a grocery store, shop, haul my bags and bags of groceries back to the bus stop, wait, get on and then off the bus, and walk home.  NEVER gonna happen.

It is far more likely that we will all drive energy efficient/environmentally friendly cars.  Problem solved.
