me and my boyfriend were cuddling after intercourse. he had not disposed of the condom yet (it was still on). when we moved the blanket to get up we saw it had come off but we don't know when or how. i'm not sure if any got inside me or not but if it did some how what are the chances of me being pregnant? i mean doesnt it have to travel up a tube or something which wouldnt be likely seeing as he wasnt in me when the incident happened? oh and i dont think i have a normal cycle but it might be the time of the month when i have higher chances of conceiving but i'm not sure.

  1. ur chances r slim.  it's not as easy to get preganat as u might think.  to know if u r ovulating take an ovulation test.  (u don't ovulate every month)  check ur underwear for a clear thin discharge (like snot).  that means u r ovulating.  take a test in two or three weeks just to be sure, but u have little to worry about.  my ob/gyn told me that it takes a couple with normal reproductive systems that are trying to have a baby an average of 6 month to conceive.  try not to worry

  2. I don't think anyone can tell you the exact chances of you being pregnant. In my opinion, you are not. Because in order to get pregnant, the sperm travels into your uterus and only 1 sperm can fertilize the egg. Millions enter your body and because he wasn't officialy inside you, i doubt that you are pregnant. But i would still take a couple tests maybe next week and just make sure that you are not pregnant.

  3. not very high at all. you can only get pregnant if the sperm entered the v****a. if you that worried go get a test. i really cant see you being pregnant though.

  4. Here are the rules of s*x:

    1.  Anytime you have s*x, you have a chance of pregnancy.  This is just a fact of life and reproduction.

    2.  NO method of contraception is EVER 100% effective.

    3.  Condoms -- AT BEST -- are only about 84% effective (or fail about 16% of the time!).  Considering you have some "grey area" to work with, I would say your failure rate just jumped to about 25%!

    4.  It only takes ONE sperm to be introduced into the v****a to make a girl pregnant.  A full shot of ejaculation is NOT in any way necessary!

    5.  When in doubt, buy emergency contracpetive (Plan-B) and USE it as soon as possible.

    6.  When an accident happens, especially in your case (irregular cycles), take a pregnancy test every week for the next four weeks.

    7.  Get yourself onto a more reliable means of contraception ...the pill is better than 95% when used correctly.
