  1. Can't happen. It's against party rules. He is the nominee and it is his choice.

  2. The chances are there, but unlikely.

  3. why?

you are really afraid of mccain aren't you?

it would appear that the more I see in here, the more I understand all these answers and questions having to do with Palin are just because your obama didnt show "change" and mccain did.

so now you all are mad at yourselves for choosing a dead horse who is stuck to washington politics as usual.

its ok, people make mistakes. the election isnt over yet, so learn to accept you were wrong and vote for the "real" change.

not the guy who preached it and then choose to stay with old school politics.

  4. slim

  5. zero

  6. 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000...

  7. 000.00000%.  He won the nomination.  He won the right to pick his running mate.

  8. none

  9. LOL The GOP picked Sarah Palin for the old guy. It has been designed to freak out Republicans and send them running around in circles with their hair on fire... sort of like Homer Simpson at a typical Simpson barbecue (if Homer had hair, that is).

The nameless  have variously suggested Joe Lieberman, Rudy Giuliani, Tom Ridge, Lincoln Chafee (whose middle name is Davenport, aptly enough), or THE woman who claims Don Siegelman was railroaded. But now that they've gone and made the choice, more and more, no most,  McCain Republicans are frothing at the mouth, chewing broken bottles, and baying at the moon. - although they'd never let the rest of us know that.

But we know better, don't we.....chuckling.

  10. Notta.

  11. The GOP is a lot smarter than you give credit for. This was the best choice for them. If it had been Huckabee and Palin I believe it would be a stronger ticket but  this is fine.

Palin is not  a D.C. lifer , she has a clean record, is popular in her state and seems to have a level head that is ready for business.

She will draw the majority of the female vote, at least 10 to 20 % of what will be nedded to level the field. The staunch, hardline Republicans will vote as they always do, the racists have already made their choice, and the middle roaders will split down the middle.

I'll step out on a limb and predict that this ticket will carry better than 55% of the popular vote.

  12. she is an awesome choice....now he will win by even more!

  13. Sorry to disappoint you and the the other Democrat Sheeple, but the Republicans aren't quite as confused as you all.

  14. Wont happen, shes here to stay

  15. GOP rejoices with this ticket.  McCain is brilliant!  The GOP cannot reject it or select any other.

  16. McCain is making a big gamble, I don't think the Republicans in the convention will reject his nominee, but it could lower the level of support for the ticket.

  17. SLIM & NONE since the conservatives appear to be very excited about her.

  18. About the same as them rejecting McCain himself and taking Romney or Huckabee.  But they'll probably -- if you'll pardon the metaphor for the worst pilot in U.S. Navy history -- go down with the ship they got.
