  1. The only thing different in this Olympics over the last several years is the actual volleyball.  See a picture below.  The ball has 2 colors and 8 panels.  And has dimples like a golf ball.

Remember some of the difference between the FIVB and USA club or US high schools.

There are only 6 subs.  Once the starter is back in the set, they must stay.  Once the sub goes out, they are out for the rest of the set.

    The Libero does not serve.

Those are the main differences.  There are many others, but they are minor.  The ball is the main difference.

edited later.  I just noticed the comment above mine.  The 2 Libero rule is being discussed for the next set of rules.  They will use 1 Libero for this Olympics.  They always make their big changes for after the Olympics.  Another change that they are talking about is the speed subs.  The incoming sub will check in at the score table and the scorekeeper will whistle during a dead ball.  The procedure will remind you of basketball.  Another possible rule change is the size of the volleyball.  They want to make it bigger in order to slow down play and make the rally longer.

  2. I don't know... but probably i heard they'll apply the 2 liberos rule...

    Not sure
