  1. I'll answer that next week, everything has been bad about this week for me... so I'll give you a comprehensive list when it's over!!!

  2. Waking up Dead!...?

  3. Everything that can go wrong will do so with a vengeance...

  4. Here's my true story for this week:

    - The DSL modem disconnects randomly.

    - Quest tells you that the connection you've had for six years is now too slow and you must upgrade and this will solve the problem. I'm a bit skeptical and say that the problem is not speed but reliability. I must explain this again later to another tech who seems to want to raise my cost. This must be a trick they learned from Sears.

    - After calling and waiting another time, the tech seems to know what they are doing and says the modem needs new firmware and we will receive a disk in the mail by 1:30 PM precisely.

    - The disk does not show up that day. A call to tech support is from an Indian who appears to speak some language resembling English. She seems to prolong my pain and her time credit by talking as much as she can.

    - After waiting on hold for another hour for the fourth time (with the recorded message interrupting music every minute to say "your call is important to us"), the DSL tech tells you to disconnect the green line, and this disconnects you from tech support.

    - After staying home from work to call the DSL folks, the technician tells you that he will give you a new routing and this will solve your problem. It doesn't solve the problem, but it does give you a very, very noisy phone connection.

    - The DSL folks tell you that you must call the phone repair folks.

    - When you call the phone repair, they promise to dispatch a repair person by 8 PM the next day.

    - At 2 AM, the phone rang. Ten minutes later, two armed policemen pound on the door saying that someone from our address called 9/11. We hadn't.

    - When I wake up in the morning, I find that the phone is no longer working at all.

    - When I call Quest from a cell phone, the snotty operator says that there is already a service call on this. She says that a noisy line could cause strange things like this 9/11 call. Really?

The week is not over and I still are without DSL or phone service. Does dealing with the phone company get any better?

The only thing that may make it worse is an announcement that Israel and the US are now attacking Iran and all of our civil rights are suspended.

  5. It starts on a Monday and ends on a Friday

  6. Meeting me!

  7. When u come home wantin nookie and yah find yah fella upstairs with another bloke!

  8. monday sickness..

  9. Depends where you live.

For many it would be no food, family members killed, no health care, dying alone, zero transport [other than walking]

Being unable to vote & having a dictator for a president.

Malnutrition & having to watch your babies starving to death.

I have no bad weeks, considering all the things other people have to live with.
