  1. The most prominent characteristic was a core family which included both a father and a mother living under the same roof.

    These parents felt obligated to teach their children morality and ethics both by setting a good example and by individual counsel.


  2. Watch Leave it to Beaver reruns and you will get the idea.  Good kids, quiet neighborhoods, men in ties to go out to dinner, women in pearls to clean the house. You get the idea.

  3. Quieter, more open space, less people, outside of the big cities, (if theres less people, and more open space, doesn't that mean theres less business?)
