  1. im not sure about days but lufthansa is the cheapest flight that ive used. just make sure that the plane is an A330-300 or A340-600 otherwise you wont get personal entertainment

  2. Booking in advance is usually cheaper and days of the week varies with what week it is.  Anytime near holidays usually costs more.  I usually fly NWA for traveling back and forth to the Philippines and I've usually found Mondays to be the cheapest for that flight.  Try  http://www.orbitz.com/ and just keep changing the dates and see what pops up cheapest.  Also looking for flights during the day will often cost more as many businesses are booking flights during their working hours, so if you go on line later in the evening, the same flight may be considerably cheaper.

  3. Usually you can find the cheapest flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.

With capacity cuts and increasing fuel prices it's a good idea to book as far in advance as possible since fares aren't likely to go down.  Generally the fare breaks come at 21, 14, 7, and 3 days - the farther out from the day of the flight, the cheaper the fare.

    Safe travels!

  4. mostly midweek unless there is a holiday time like christmas. fly out like on a tuesday, wednesday, or a thursday [maybe]. avoid fridays, and saturdays cuz those are expensive days.

  5. normally its the days that are not as popular, so Friday thru Monday are out so its normally Tuesday Wednesday and try to book early in the morning or at an inconvenient time for the same reasons. in the us airlines have sales in the fall but it depends on the airline and there pricing structure etc low cost airlines are some times cheaper last minute but i wouldn't leave it till then better to book 6 to nine months before Ive found research all the flights on a number of web sites is best
