there is a jury's hotel beside Croke park, but Croke park is walking distance from the city centre so any city centre hotels would be fine.

I would not stay in that Jurys beside Croke....the area is a dump, its close to the city but you would not want to walk it late at night. Its also very dark, and not much traffic passes through.  Any hotel on the north side of the city centre is within walkin distance of Croke Park. Browns on Gardiner St, is cheap, central, close to Croke Parka and located in a fairly touristy area.
