What cheap holiday companies do you know?

not the hotels, but full holidays.

Something like thomas cook, only I'm trying to look for something as cheap as possible :D

Usually it is cheapest to book flights and accommodation separately because travel companies need to make commission. Sometimes travel agents have good deals going so try Thomson or Thomas cook. Generally First choice is quite expensive. Usually the companies which have there own airline turn out cheaper but it is best to shop around. Hope this helped

Going through holiday companies you pay extra because you have to pay their commission fees which are built into the holiday price.

Kayak will give you the cheapest flights and you can also get cheap hotels either there on elsewhere on the Internet.

It is always a lot cheaper to do it yourself rather than through a company who will charge you

There are 2 ways to cheap holidays.

1. Use websites to construct your own holiday. Book flights, hotels etc. A good website for this sort of information is lastminute.com that has a lot of good deals especially in Europe.

2. Go through a travel agent. They can get you the better deals because, through their buying power they can put together the best arrangement of hotels, car rental, flights and transfers. However, generally speaking, people looking for deals are avoiding the travel agents these days. Travel agents are safer because they will fix up problems if things go wrong.

The best place...it depends, most travel agents are under pressure and so are offering various deals. The best place, the best websites usually depend on the location you are going to.

And personally, cheap usually means cheap and nasty, so better to set your budget and look for a value for money deal at that price.
