  1. Not very high.

But, it's happend to me before. XD

  2. Haha not likely

  3. Goo has the right answer - there is a 1 in 216 chance of rolling three consecutive doubles and landing in jail.  That's because every single throw has a 1/6 chance of being a double, so you have a 1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 = 1/216 chance of rolling doubles three times in a row.

As you undoubtedly know, the actual chance of ending up in jail is considerably higher than 1/216.  That's because you could land on the "Go to Jail" square or draw a "Go to Jail" card before rolling your third double.

  4. Once per game, on average.

  5. One of these links is about backgammon, but they both discuss the chances of rolling doubles with two dice.  In any given turn the chances of rolling a particular double are 1 in 36, but the chances of rolling any double in any particular turn are 1 in 6.

  6. One out of two hundred sixteen.

  7. 1/216

  8. Depends some games I roll more doubles than others.
