for the U.S., our cold months would be November, January, and Febuary, and March, What's Chile's?

  3. Winter in Chile is from June to September and the wheather in Santiago should be much like Denver, with the exception that in Santiago it snows twice every 100 years! Expect rain instead of snow. Check these pictures of Santiago during the winter and notice that even though the city is next to the andes mountains, snow doesn't quite reach the city limits. But you have many skiing resorts 45 minutes away.

    In summer it's very hot and dry, plus smog makes averyone go out of town on weekends.

    The South: April, May, June, July, August, September, October

    Patagonia: March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November

  6. Winter months are June, July and August. The southern part of Chile is colder and rainier than the northern part which is mainly desert.
