What are the combustion products of crude oil (or petroleum)?

I'd like to know the combustion products of oil when it is heated. Please help, thanks sooo much!!!

It's usually CO2,CO and steam(H2O).

If the oil contains sulpher then SO2 may be

produced also.

Oil and petroleum are both largely composed of carbon and hydrogen. Therefore the products are largely carbon dioxide and water.

However, if it burns yellow rather than blue, it is undergoing incomplete combustion, and the products are carbon monoxide and water.

There are other trace elements in there too, such as some sulphur, which when burned would give off sulphur dioxide, it may also further react with oxygen to form sulphur trioxide, and then again with the water to form sulphuric acid.
