What are the complications for scoliosis surgery?

im having it in october and the doctor sent home a list of complications but my parents didnt show it to me and i think i need to know the complications before i do actually have the surgery i am tough enough to take the news please tell me ALL of the complications

  1. Don't be alarmed. Your parents do not want you to know the risks because they don't want to worry you. I will tell you the truth, but please don't worry yourself. I'm assuming your scoliosis is really bad for the docs to want to do surgery.

    Scoliosis surgery has many possible complications which may include severe blood loss, paraplegia, and even death. Many orthopedists and scoliosis researchers dismiss the possible role of exercise in treating spinal curvature because they say surgery and bracing are the only proven options. But that is not necessary true.

    I have scoliosis pretty bad, but to look at me  you wouldn't know it. I look perfectly normal, and I have no side effects.
