What are the conditions in California to be able to drive a moped?

Class m2 license and i am pretty sure its 16 yrs. old.

im thinking about getting one.....they should be really handy now.

you can drive a moped from the age of 16 after getting a license.but i would advise you not to.in california peolpe usually have a suv or a yamaha motorbike and it may end up people laughing at you,but there are a few advantages which cant be compared to the unlimited cons.
