  1. Nothing, it might be painful but after you deliver you forget all about it

  2. Just the pain.  I've given birth three times, twice with epidurals/pain killers, and my last was natural.  If I could stand the pain I'd do natural all over again, as I felt fantastic afterwards, where after the epidural I felt like c**p afterwards and had to wait for it to wear off, etc.

  3. I would say the pain would be the biggest con....

  4. i did it naturally, and the biggest con was the stitches! gas and air makes me feel extremely sick, and i didnt think my labour was so sore that i needed an epi. but i tore, and needed stitches. i screamed the place down, but didnt make a peep during labour!

  5. The only one i can honestly think of, is the pain. You feel every little bit of the labor. But i forgot how painful it was straight after giving birth.

  6. With my four children I never had an epidural. I had Demerol with three of them and nothing with the other. If I was to have anymore children, I would do it with nothing. I felt great afterwards. As for a con, I don't know of any.

  7. You have to suffer the pain and indignity of giving birth

You have to work hard at pelvic floor exercises to get your muscle  tone down there back to what it was before.

Your tail bone hurts for a week after giving birth (1st baby only)

You may need stitches down there

  8. It hurts!

That's about the only con I can think of.

I've had one natural and one epidural birth.  I'd take the epidural any day.  I was really not prepared for the intensity of natural childbirth, but I didn't have a choice because it happened too fast.
