  1. No problem just a slap on the wrist.  Don't worry about it.

  2. Why do people take something fun (like Thailand) and think adding drugs will make it better, just for asking the question you should not be allowed in the Kingdom.

A 2004 survey by the Asia Foundation found widespread acceptance for get-tough policies against drug dealers and human traffickers. An average of 67 percent of respondents said that extrajudicial killings were permissible in such cases.

  3. probably if you are a woman you would be raped and killed if you are a man they would send you to a workers camp until you die....

  4. It depends on whether you're intending to distribute or simple possession of a small amount as well as the type of drug. All I can say is one night in a Thai jail can seem like a life sentence, just ask Amnesty International, and you never know who's who when your involved in drugs here. This is a good blog concerning the penalties in Thailand:

Btw, the Office of Narcotic Control Board just announced a major crackdown on drugs, the last time they had a major crackdown over 2,500 people were shot to death by the police, but at least they didn't have to spend anytime in jail.

  5. Lots of foreigners are in prison right now, they thought they could get involved with drugs and get away with it.  Thai prisons are not like the prisons you have in your country - the wardens can do just about anything they want to do with you and your country can't do much to change that!

You could try the same excuse that other foreigners have used in the past that they were set up by the police!  However, keep in mind that the police don't have to set any foreigners up, most of them are really stupid and get caught very easy.   Take you for instance, your most important questions are about scoring drugs - not what to see and do, what beaches to go to, how to change money over, etc.

If your traveling companions are dopers who are like you - that increases your chance of getting caught with drugs!  When you are on your trip you had better check your bags thoroughly and often - just in case one of your doper friends hides his dope in your bags and when you get busted - you take the fall!

(The police also have informers that help them find dopers.)

  6. enjoy your prison holiday there for a long time

  7. There are a few benefits, such as no visa extension problems - you can stay for years without having to pay for a visa. You will also get free room and board for your entire stay. You can also say goodbye to those pesky modern day conveniences, like TV, air conditioning and computers.

Unfortunately, you will be surrounded by bars all day, every day - but you won't be able to get a drink out of any of them.

  8. You will always remain young. Your  age will be constant (not changing), say if you are now 25 years old and you are caught with whatever class drugs, I can assure you  that  you will be 25 years old  forever.
