Planning your childbearing by regulating it with birth control is good. Planning your vacation in advance instead of arriving at your destination to find that all the hotels are booked is good.

Planning your s*x life down to the last detail of who does what to whom is rather a buzz kill. Trying to plan you life too far in advance is a pointless waste of time.
