What are the consequences of the GOP convention being postponed by Gustav?

They won't postpone the convention. Bush never postponed his schedule over Katrina.

They need to call Pat Robertson one the mighty prophets of the GOP (God's Only Party).  He has made claims he can move hurricanes and cure hemorrhoids.

Since when did the GOP care about a hurricane and its victims? Seriously..

Not likely. The GOP conventiion is 'way up north in Minnesota. What might be disrupted are the travel plans of Republicans who are planning to attend. I've heard that Ray Nagin, the mayor of New Orleans is constantly monitoring Gustav, in case he might have to leave the Democratic convention. Those who live/work in southern states will have one eye on the weather channels.
