  1. They typical size of a bar table is 7', but they are made in several sizes between 6' and 9'. One of the bars I go to actually has 9' coin-op tables.

    Anyway, the actual playing surface on a typical 7' bar box is 40"x80". Here are some links to actual dimensions of the tables.

  2. 7 X 3.5  you measure the playing area not the whole table

  3. I sell pool tables and what is referred to in the industry as "bar size" is a 7' table.  That doesn't mean bars can't have other sizes.  I've seen everything from a 6' all the way up to a full 12' snooker table in bars.
