Question:

What are the current BlackJack playing conditions at Crown Casino (Melbourne)?"?

My main concerns are

- Are there Continuous Shuffling Machines (CSM's) in use?

- If so, are they at all tables or only some?

- What are the current rules?

- For example does the dealer hit on soft 17 (17 with an ace, so it can be 7 or 17)?

Any other information that seems relevant would also be helpful.

Thanks

  1. Continuous Shuffling Machines (CSM's) are in use at some of the blackjack tables.

There are other tables with the normal shute.

THey have 8 decks in the shute for normal shute. bear in mind, when the shute is cut, they cut at 2 decks from end.

    6 decks in CSM's.

Dealer does hit on soft 17. this real only came in within last year. Also in some areas you can double on any 2 cards. This is premier Blackjack. In the VIP rooms they DO NOT hit on soft 17. only all other rooms do. I hope this helps.

  2. Iv never been to that casino, but you may find a faster answer to your question by searching or posting at http://www.blackjackinfo.com in the message board, myself and other mebers there regularly share information on table conditions from casinos all over the world.

There may even be a posting on that casino all ready, if not just ask and chances are somebody there will know.
