  1. Normal office hours for Government departments etc are 8.30am or 9am to 5pm or 5.30pm.

  2. It depends on what sort of business and what state.  Office hours are theoretically 9 to 5, but most people work longer.

Small retail will be 9 to 5-30 or 6-00, except there is usually one night of shopping till 9-00 pm.

Larger supermarkets are often 24 hour, others are 6-00 am to midnight.

    Most shops trade all weekend.

  3. Retail 9-5.30, thurs or fri night till 9, sat 9-5, sun 9-4.

Office 9-5.30 is the traditional hours, many salaried people and different industries can do anywhere from 6am -7pm, the usual would be a 10hr day for someone in a management position.

Industrial is more 7-3 but you can do shift work also.

Hospitality open till 11 on weeknights and later on the weekends.

    Nightclubs 8.30pm - 3am/5am
