What are the dates of easter vacation in nicaragua, what places are closed for the holiday?

I AM GOING TO NICARAGUA OVER EASTER VACATION APRIL 4 THROUGH APRIL 13,

I KNOW THE GOVERNMENT OFFICES CLOSE FOR A WEEK , DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DATES THE OFFICES ARE CLOSED. IS IT THE WEEK BEFORE EASTER, OR THE WEEK AFTER? ALSO WHAT DATES ARE THE BANKS CLOSED OVER EASTER ,,,

My husband is from Nicaragua and pretty much everything is closed during Semana Santa.  Very little is open.

Easter vacation, called Semana Santa in Spanish, is from April 1-8 (from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday) this year.

I'm not sure about in Nicaragua but in Honduras just about everything closes from Wednesday afternoon until Sunday evening, with the exection of places like gas stations, restaurants, hotels, etc.

I believe the government is closed the whole week.
