  1. One acre is 43,560 square feet. An easy way to remember this number is that it happens to be exactly 99% of 44,000. An acre of land can be any shape - rectangular, triangular, round, or any other shape, so it's not possible to say what its dimensions are, but if it were square, it would be 208.7 feet on a side

  2. There are 640 acres in one square mile.  Miles can be expressed in inches, feet, yards, etc, so any unit that can be used for a mile can also be used for an acre.  Acres are sometimes defined by rods.  There are 320 rods in one mile, so one rod is 16.5 feet.

Since there are 640 acres in one square mile, one acre would be 5,280 times 5,280 divided by 640 or 43,560 square feet.

  3. Its 4045.4 sq meters and 1 never is around 3.3 feet...

  4. Good answer, I always wondered this myself.
