  1. That's right...a toric lens is for correcting astigmatism.

Sometimes used when the astigmatism gets to 0.75 ,which will correct up to 1.00,  but more often when it gets to 1.25 and over.

They are a bit more difficult to fit because of the problems of the lens rotating sometimes. And they are also more expensive, but neccessary when the Rx is high enough.

  2. toric corrects the astisgmtism in ur eye but normal lenses doesn't.

  3. I'm not really sure what the difference is but I know that I have a toric lens in my right eye because I have astigmatism in that eye. So I guess it helps your astigmatism?

Not sure exactly thought. lol. sorry

  4. i dont know srry lol
