  1. The only credit score that lendersuse is a FICO score.   When you pay for your FICO score, your information is pulled from the 3 national credit bureaus....Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Your credit reports may have subtle differences which is the reason for different scores.  

    For example, one credit card may not report to a certain bureau or negative entries may only report to two bureas. This is the reason you may have three different scores.


  2. Equifax, Experian and TransUnion each have different creditors reporting to them and different algorithms for computing a score.

    Also, each have different possible "mistakes" on your report. But all lenders do NOT use FICO. FICO does monitor all three of the reporting agencies.
